Father of Former Stars Player

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Organization and our member families extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of Frank Vickers on his passing.

Frank was the father of former Esmark Stars AAA Hockey Pee Wee player Enzo Vickers.

Frank, who was born January 7, 1976 in Youngstown, OH, was the son of Frank Sinkovich and Karen Vickers, both of Youngstown.

Frank was a devoted loving husband, father and best friend to his wife and son. His kindness and compassion for others was immeasurable. Frank lived and breathed for his family. Frank (aka Coach) had a true passion for sports. He attended every game that his son was involved in. Frank enjoyed being a coach and mentor. The joy that his son Enzo gets from playing hockey, football and lacrosse filled Frank’s heart with love. The best name he was known for was “Dad.”

Frank and his son were the biggest Steelers and Michigan fans and they always looked forward to the new football season each year. The love they had for each other was truly amazing and their bond was evident to all.

Frank is survived by his wife, Shannon (Marciano) Vickers, and their son, Enzo Frank Vickers.

Family and friends are encouraged to offer prayers for the family and support via phone call, text, email or may visit the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com.
