Stars Set for Exciting Weekend Action

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) , return to the ice this upcoming weekend, Nov 1 - 3, for exciting  AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the Star's 40th season.

Six of the Stars seven teams take to the ice and all will be in Tier 1 Hockey Federation (T1HF) League play.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will return to the friendly confines of Pittsburgh Ice Arena as they welcome Black Bear National Academy to Pittsburgh for a pair of T1HF games. The two Midget Major 18U squads will face-off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will also return to the friendly confines of Pittsburgh Ice Arena as they welcome Team Maryland and the Palmyra Black Knights to Pittsburgh for a four-game T1HF league weekend. The Stars and Team Maryland will square-off on Friday, Nov 1, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, Nov 2, 9:00 a.m. Then the Stars U15 (only) squad will face Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, Nov 3.

The U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars will travel to Odenton, MD, and the Piney Orchard Arena for a pair of T1HF league games with Team Maryland. The two Bantam Major 14U squads will face-off at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:10 a.m. on Sunday.

The U13 Red AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will also travel to Odenton, MD, and the Piney Orchard Arena for a pair of T1HF league games with Team Maryland. The two Bantam Minor 13U squads will face-off at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The U13 White AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will travel to Pennsauken, NJ, and the Pennsauken Ice Arena for a pair of T1HF league games with the Flyers Elite. The two Bantam Minor 13U squads will face-off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The U13 White AAA Pee Wee Major Pittsburgh Stars will also travel to Pennsauken, NJ, and the Pennsauken Ice Arena for a pair of T1HF league games with the Flyers Elite. The two Pee Wee Major 12U squads will face-off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The U16 Midget Pittsburgh Stars will enjoy a scheduled weekend off.

Celebrating their 40th season during the 2024-25 season, the Pittsburgh Stars program is the oldest Tier I program in the Mid-American District of USA Hockey and one of the oldest Tier I programs under the USA Hockey umbrella.
