Stars Set for Exciting AAA Hockey Action

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL), return to the ice this upcoming weekend, Nov 22 - 25, for exciting  AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the Star's 40th season.

Three Pittsburgh Stars teams, U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars, the U13 Red AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars and the U13 White AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars, will all be in tournament action at home as the Tier 1 Hockey Federation (T1HF) comes to the 'Burgh  for the T1HF - Pittsburgh Showcase.

The U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars will open their T1HF - Pittsburgh Showcase schedule on Friday, Nov 22, against the Hartford Jr Wolfpack at 4:20 p.m. at the Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont, PA. On Saturday, Nov 23, the 14U Stars take to the ice twice facing the Westchester Express South, 11:20 a.m., and the Sylvania North Stars, 7:40 p.m., both at the Palmer Imaging Arena. The Bantam Major Stars close the Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday, Nov 24, with a 8:40 a.m., opening face-off against the Chicago Phantoms at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

The U13 Red AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open their T1HF - Pittsburgh Showcase schedule on Friday, Nov 22, with a pair of games. First up they will face the Palmyra Black Knights at 9:40 a.m. at the Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont, PA. Then at 6:00 p.m., they will face the Florida Alliance North 13U squad at Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA. On Saturday, Nov 23, the Stars 13U Red squad will square-off with the Red Bank Generals at 2:40 p.m. back at the Palmer Imaging Arena. The Stars Bantam Minor13U Red squad will close the Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday, Nov 24, with a 12:00 p.m., opening face-off against the New York Arrows at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena.

The U13 White AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open their T1HF - Pittsburgh Showcase schedule on Friday, Nov 22, with a pair of games at the Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont, PA. First up they will face the Philadelphia Revolution Elite at 11:20 a.m. Then at 6:15 p.m., they will face Team Maryland's 13U squad. On Saturday, Nov 23, the Stars 13U White squad will square-off with the Hartford Jr Wolfpack at 1:15 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena Arena in New Kensington, PA. The Stars Bantam Minor13U White squad will close the Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday, Nov 24, with an 8:40 a.m. opening face-off against the New York City Hockey Club back at the Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will travel to the "Motor City" - Detroit, MI, to participate in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League (T1EHL) Showcase, Nov 23 - 25. The Midget Major Stars open the event with a pair of games on Saturday, Nov. 23. First up is Detroit-based powerhouse Victory Honda at 10:15 a.m. Then on Saturday evening, the Stars and the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets hook-up at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, Nov 24, the Stars return to the ice to face the Anaheim Jr Ducks at 10:00 a.m. The 18U Stars close the Showcase on Monday, Nov 25, with a 8:15 a.m. face-off against the Oakmoor Patriots. All games will be played at the Taylor SportsPlex in Taylor, MI.

The U16 Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will travel to York, PA, to face the Palmyra Black Knights in a pair of weekend T1HF league games. The Stars and Knights take to the ice on Saturday, Nov. 23, 6:05 p.m., and on Sunday, Nov 24, 11:10 a.m. Both games will be played at the York Ice Arena in York, PA.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars and the U12 AAA Pee Wee Major Pittsburgh Stars will both enjoy a scheduled weekend off.

Celebrating their 40th season during the 2024-25 season, the Pittsburgh Stars program is the oldest Tier I program in the Mid-American District of USA Hockey and one of the oldest Tier I programs under the USA Hockey umbrella.

Game schedules for the '24-'25 season, as well as team rosters, have all been posted to the various Pittsburgh Stars team pages on the Stars website (www.pittsburghstarshockey.com).
