Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL), will return to the ice this upcoming weekend, Sept 19–21, for exciting AAA hockey action as they celebrate the Star's 41st season.

The Star’s three Midget teams will be in Pittsburgh for the Tier I Hockey Federation (TIHF) - Pittsburgh Showcase, Sept 19 – 21.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will open the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase with a pair of games on Friday. First up is a 9:00 a.m. game against the Ontario Hockey Academy (ONT). Then at 4:00 p.m., the Midget Major Stars return to the ice to face the Oakland (MI) Jr Grizzlies. On Saturday the Stars will face the Carolina Jr Hurricanes at 3:00 p.m. They conclude the TIHF – Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday at 7:00 a.m. against Biggby Coffee (MI) AAA. All of the Star’s U18 games will be played at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase on Friday, 1:00 p.m., against the Rockets Hockey Club Elite squad (NJ) at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. On Saturday the Stars will take to the ice for a pair of games, both at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. At 9:00 a.m., they will square-off with the Cyclones Elite squad (NH). Then at 7:00 p.m. the Stars Midget Minor squad will face the Rochester Jr Americans team (NY). They will conclude the TIHF – Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. against Atlantic Coast Academy (MA) at the Palmer Imaging Arena in Delmont, PA.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase with a pair of games on Friday at the Printscape Arena at Southpointe. First up is a 9:00 a.m. game against the Rocky Mountain Rough Riders (CO). Then at 3:00 p.m., the Midget Minor U15 Stars return to the ice to face the Colorado Rampage. On Saturday the Stars shift to the CFS Bank Center in Belle Vernon, PA, to face the Mercer Chiefs (PA) at 5:00 p.m. They will then conclude their TIHF – Pittsburgh Showcase on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. against the Amherst Knights (NY) back at the CFS Bank Center.

Additionally, the Star's U13 Bantam Minor will travel to Chicago, IL, for a four-game road trip, Sept 19 – 21.

The U13 AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open their Chicago road trip on Friday with a 5:30 p.m. game against the Chicago Fury at the Arctic Ice Arena in Orland Park, IL. On Saturday, the Bantam Minor Stars will hit the ice twice. First, at 11:40 a.m., the Stars will square-off with Team Illinois at the Addison Ice Arena in Addison, IL. Then later Saturday afternoon, 4:40 p.m., the Stars Bantam Minor squad will again meet-up with the Chicago Fury back at Arctic Ice Arena. On Sunday, the Stars conclude their road trip with an 8:00 a.m. opening face-off against Team Illinois back at the Addison Ice Arena.

The U14 Bantam Major Star’s team will enjoy an off weekend.
