Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) and the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF), will return to the ice this upcoming week, Sept 25–28, for exciting AAA hockey showcase and league action as they celebrate the program's 41st season.

All three of the Star’s three Midget teams as well as their Bantam Major team will travel to Minneapolis, MN, for the opening North American Tier I Hockey League (NAT1HL) Showcase, Sept 25 – 28.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will open the NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase on Thursday, Sept 25, at 4:30 p.m. against the Los Angeles Kings. On Friday, Sept 26, the Stars Midget Major squad will square-off against the Madison Capitals at 5:15 p.m. On Saturday, Sept 27, the U18 Stars will face-off against the Colorado T-Birds at 6:00 p.m. The Stars U18 squad will conclude the NATIHL-Minneapolis event on Sunday, Sept 28, at 9:00 a.m. against CarShield (MO) AAA. All of the Star’s U18 NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase games will be played at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase on Thursday, Sept 25, at 2:00 p.m. against Team North Dakota. On Friday, Sept 26, the Stars Midget Minor squad will square-off with the Connecticut Jr Rangers at 10:30 a.m. On Saturday, Sept 27, the U16 Stars will face Omaha (KS) Mastery at 10:30 a.m. The Stars U16 squad will conclude the NATIHL-Minneapolis event on Sunday, Sept 28, at 7:30 a.m. against Team Illinois. All of the Star’s U16 NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase games will be played at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase on Thursday, Sept 25, at 12:00 p.m. against Team Alaska. On Friday, Sept 26, the Stars Midget Minor squad will square-off with CarShield (MO) AAA at 8:00 a.m. On Saturday, Sept 27, the U15 Stars will face the Arizoana Jr Coyotes at 8:00 a.m. The Stars U15 squad will conclude the NATIHL-Minneapolis event on Sunday, Sept 28, at 7:30 a.m. against Team North Dakota. All of the Star’s U15 NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase games will be played at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

The U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars will open the NATIHL – Minneapolis Showcase on Thursday, Sept 25, at 1:30 p.m. against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Furniture and Things Event Center in Elk River, MN. On Friday, Sept 26, the Stars Bantam Major squad will square-off with the Minnesota Moose at 1:00 p.m. at the Furniture and Things Event Center in Elk River. On Saturday, Sept 27, the U14 Stars will face the Minnesota Grey Ducks at 7:10 p.m. at the Andover Community Center Ice Arena in Andover, MN. The Stars U14 squad will conclude the NATIHL-Minneapolis event on Sunday, Sept 28, against the Seattle Jr Kraken at 7:00 a.m. at the Plymouth Ice Center in Plymouth, MN.

While the older teams compete in Minneapolis, the U13 AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will enjoy an open weekend.
