Stars Set for Exciting AAA Hockey Action

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) and the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF), will return to the ice this upcoming weekend, Oct 24–26, for an exciting AAA hockey showcase and league action as they celebrate the program's 41st season.

The U13 AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open their 2025-26 home schedule as they play host to a busy five-game long weekend. First up will be a Friday, Oct 24, 6:00 p.m., showdown with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. Then on Saturday, Oct 25, the Bantam Minor Stars will host the Carolina Jr Hurricanes in a pair of games. Opening face-offs are set for 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. The U13 Stars close the weekend with a pair of games on Sunday, Oct 26, as they face the Jr Hurricanes at 9:30 a.m. and then the U13 Penguins at 1:00 p.m. All five games will be played at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

The U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars will open their 2025-26 home schedule as they welcome the Carolina Jr Hurricanes U14 squad to Pittsburgh for a three-game series. The Stars and Jr Hurricanes open the series on Saturday, Oct 24, with a 7:00 p.m. face-off. Then on Sunday, Oct 25, the two Bantam Major squads will square-off in a pair of games, with opening face-offs set for 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. Games will be played at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

The U15 Midget Minor Stars will take on the U15 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite in a home-and-home series. On Saturday, the two Midget 15(only) squads will square-off at 4:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Ice Arena. Then on Sunday they will conclude the two-game set with a 1:45 p.m. opening faceoff at the UPMC Lemieux Complex in Cranberry Township, PA.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars and U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will both travel east to Woodbridge, NJ, to participate in the PG Fall Classic Tournament.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the tournament on Friday, Oct 24, with a 10:00 a.m. face-off against the Woodbridge Wolfpack at the Club at Woodbridge in Woodbridge, NJ. On Saturday, Oct 25, the Midget Minor Stars will take to the ice twice. First up will be a 12:10 p.m. game with the New Jersey Rockets at the Bridgewater Sports Arena in Bridgewater, NJ. Then at 8:00 p.m., the Stars will close round-robin play as they face the Little Flyers back at the Club at Woodbridge. Semi-final and consolation games, set for Sunday, Oct 26, will be determined post round-robin play. And the PG Fall Classic 18U Championship game will be played at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 26, at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will open the PG Fall Classic on Friday, Oct 24, with a pair of round-robin games. First up will be a 8:00 a.m. opening face-off against the Mercer Chiefs. The Stars return to the ice at 4:00 p.m. to face the New Jersey Titans Academy. The Midget Major Stars will complete round-robin play on Saturday, Oct 25, with a 6:00 p.m. game against Atlantic Coast Academy. All round-robin games will be played at the Woodbridge Community Center in Woodbridge, NJ. Semi-final and consolation games, set for Sunday, Oct 26, will be determined post round-robin play. And the PG Fall Classic 18U Championship game will be played at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 26, at the Woodbridge Community Center.
