Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) and the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF), will return to the ice this upcoming weekend, Nov 21 – 23, for an exciting AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the program's 41st season.

The two youngest Star’s teams, U13 and U14, will both be home as they welcome the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase to town, Friday through Sunday.

The U13 Bantam Minor Stars will open the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase with a 7:40 p.m. opening faceoff on Friday, Nov 21, against Biggby Coffee. On Saturday, Nov 22, the Bantam Minor Stars return to the ice for a pair of games. At 12:10 p.m. they will square-off with the Jersey Hitmen. Then at 5:10 p.m. they will face the Chicago Phantoms. The U13 Stars close the Showcase on Sunday, Nov 23, 10:20 a.m., against Team Maryland. All of the U13 Star’s Showcase games will be played at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA.

The U14 Bantam Major Stars will open the T1HF – Pittsburgh Showcase with a 1:10 p.m. faceoff on Friday, Nov 21, against the Palmyra Black Knights. On Saturday, Nov 22, the Bantam Major Stars return to the ice for a pair of games. At 8:40 a.m. they will square-off with the Red Bank Generals. Then at 6:50 p.m. they will square-off with the Mercer Chiefs. The U14 Stars will close the Showcase on Sunday, Nov 23, at 10:20 a.m. against the Queen City Royals. All of the U14 Star’s Showcase games will be played at the Palmer Imaging Center in Delmont, PA.

Meanwhile, the U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will travel west on I-70 for a pair of road non-league games with the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets this upcoming weekend. On Saturday, Nov 22, the Stars and Blue Jackets 16U squads will face-off at 8:40 p.m. at the Chiller North in Lewis Center, OH. The Midget Minor squads return to the ice on Sunday, Nov 23, 3:40 p.m., at the Ohio Health IceHaus in downtown Columbus.

Both the U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars and U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will enjoy a planned open weekend.
