Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) will be back in action this upcoming weekend, Dec 20 – 21, for exciting AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the program's 41st season.

The Pittsburgh Stars Midget teams (U15, U16 and U18) will all return to the friendly confines of Pittsburgh Ice Arena in New Kensington, PA, for weekend T1HF League action.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will hit the ice twice on Saturday, Dec 20. First up will be a 10:00 a.m. opening faceoff against the Sylvania North Stars. Then at 7:00 p.m., the Star’s U15 team will face Notre Dame Academy in T1HF league-action. On Sunday, Dec 21, the Stars will close the weekend series with Notre Dame Academy with a 9:00 a.m. start.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will welcome the Elmira Jr Aviators to Pittsburgh for a two-game T1HF series this weekend. On Saturday, Dec 20, the two Midget Minor U16 squads will take to the ice at 3:00 p.m. Then on Sunday, Dec 21, the Stars and Comets will close the weekend league series with an 9:00 a.m. opening faceoff.

The U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will welcome the Utica Jr Comets to Pittsburgh for a two-game T1HF series this weekend. On Saturday, Dec 20, the two Midget Major U18 squads will take to the ice at 5:00 p.m. Then on Sunday, Dec 21, the Stars and Comets will close the series with an 11:00 a.m. opening faceoff.

Both the U14 Bantam Major Stars and U13 Bantam Minor Stars will enjoy a scheduled weekend off.

All games are free and open to the public. Star's fans are encouraged to attend.
