Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) will be back in action this upcoming days, post-Christmas, Dec 27 – 30, for exciting AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the program's 41st season.

The Pittsburgh Stars Bantam teams (U13 and U14) will head North across the border to participate in the 31st Toronto Marlies Holiday Classic Tournament in Toronto, Canada.

The U13 AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars will start the Marlies Tournament with two games on Friday, Dec 27, as they face the Sarnia Lambton Jr Sting at 11:50 a.m., and the Ottawa Myers Automotive at 5:40 p.m. On Saturday, Dec 28, they will face the Toronto Marlboros, 10:50 a.m., and Ajax-Pickering Raiders, 4:40 p.m., to close round-robin play. All round-robin games will be played at the Canlan Sports Arena, in North York. The quarterfinals, 11:15 a.m., and semi-finals, 4:15 p.m., are set for Sunday, Dec 29, at the Cwench Center in Etobicoke. The U13 division Championship Game is set for a 10:30 a.m. opening faceoff on Monday, Dec 30, at the Cwench Center.

The U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars open the Marlies Tournament against the Windsor Jr Spitfires on Friday, Dec 27 at 1:45 p.m. On Saturday, Dec 28, they play the Peterborough Jr Pete’s at 11:05 a.m. and the Mississauga Rebels at 3:45 p.m. Round-robin play wraps up Sunday, Dec 29, with a 9:25 a.m. game versus the Ottawa 67’s. All round-robin games will be played at the Westwood Arena, in Etobicoke, Ont. The quarterfinals are set for Sunday at 2:15 p.m., at the Cwench Center in Etobicoke. The semi-finals, 8:00 a.m., and the U14 Championship Game, 12:30 p.m., are set for Monday, Dec 30, back at the Cwench Center in Etobicoke.

The Stars Midget teams (U15 Midget Minor Stars, U16 Midget Minor Stars and U18 Midget Major Stars) will enjoy a scheduled holiday weekend off.
