Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Program, proud members of the Tier I Hockey Federation (T1HF) and the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAT1HL) return to action this upcoming week, Jan 23 – 25, 2026, for exciting AAA hockey action as they continue to celebrate the program's 41st season.

The Pittsburgh Stars Midget teams – Midget Minor (U15), Midget Minor (U16) and Midget Major (U18) – will be in New Jersey for the PG Winter Classic Tournament, Jan 23 - 25.

The U15 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the Winter Classic on Friday, Jan 23, with a pair of games. First up will be a battle against the Long Island Arrows at 8:00 a.m. at the Club at Bridgewater in Bridgewater, NJ. Then at 2:10 p.m. they will square-off with the Rockets Hockey Club at the Bridgewater Sports Arena in Bridgewater. The Stars U15 closes out round-robin play on Saturday, Jan 24, 2:00 p.m., back at the Club at Woodbridge, against the Woodbridge Wolfpack. Semi-final and consolation games will be played on Sunday, Jan 25, after seeding, post round-robin play. Opponents, rinks and times to be determined. The 15U Championship game will be played at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Club at Woodbridge.

The U16 AAA Midget Minor Pittsburgh Stars will open the Winter Classic on Friday, Jan 23, with a pair of games. First up will be a battle against the Elmira Aviators at 8:00 a.m. at Rock Ice in Dunellen, NJ. Then at 2:15 p.m. they will square-off with the American Hockey Academy at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ. The Stars U16 squad closes out round-robin play on Saturday, Jan 24, 3:15 p.m., at the Bridgewater Sports Arena in Bridgewater, NJ, against Black Bear Academy. Semi-final and consolation games will be played on Sunday, Jan 25, after seeding, post round-robin play. Opponents, rinks and times to be determined. The 16U Championship game will be played at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ.

And the U18 AAA Midget Major Pittsburgh Stars will open the Winter Classic on Friday, Jan 23, with a pair of games. First up will be a battle against the Elmira Aviators at 10:00 a.m. at Rock Ice in Dunellen, NJ. Then at 4:15 p.m. they will square-off with the American Hockey Academy at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ. The Stars U18 squad closes out round-robin play on Saturday, Jan 24, 8:00 a.m., at the Bridgewater Sports Arena, Bridgewater, NJ, against the New Jersey Colonials. Semi-final and consolation games will be played on Sunday, Jan 25, after seeding round-robin play. Opponents, rinks and times to be determined. The 18U Championship game will be played at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

The Pittsburgh Stars Bantam teams (U13 AAA Bantam Minor Pittsburgh Stars and U14 AAA Bantam Major Pittsburgh Stars) will enjoy a scheduled weekend off.
